2 arrested after police chase ends just before RI border

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Two people were arrested Wednesday night following a pursuit by Massachusetts State Police that ended just before the Rhode Island state line.
An East Providence police officer saw the vehicle getting off I-195 West and stopped the car.
A juvenile passenger fled the scene but was arrested shortly afterward. The adult driver was also arrested.
Police believe the vehicle was stolen.
The suspects’ identities and the charges they face have not been released.
