Bicyclist injured in hit-and-run crash in Providence

Providence police said a man riding a bicycle was struck by a car whose driver took off after the crash.

Police said the man was hit late Saturday night at Cranston and Messer streets.

They said he had injuries to his eye socket and a punctured lung.

No arrests have been reported.
