to Provide More Flexibility for PPP Loan Recipients
On June 3, the U.S. Senate passed legislation providing more flexibility to recipients of loans under the Paycheck Protection Program. The legislation already passed the House. The new provisions should take away many roadblocks businesses were facing in order to be eligible to receive full forgiveness of the PPP loans, particularly the provisions increasing the time period to spend the loans to 24 weeks and lowering the payroll payment threshold to 60 percent.

An expanded testing site at Thundermist Health Center (450 Clinton Street, Woonsocket) will increase the availability of COVID-19 testing in the City of Woonsocket. The site has drive-through and walk-up access and the availability to test up to 170 people per day. You do not need to be a patient of Thundermist Health Center. You must have an appointment.
