Boy stabbed in Cranston disturbance

Cranston firefighters rushed a “male juvenile” to Hasbro Children’s Hospital following a disturbance Saturday night. According to Cranston Police, the victim was suffering from a stab wound to the right side of his abdomen.
Major Todd Patalano of Cranston Police said the wound was not life-threatening.

Patalano said police responded to reports of the melee at around 7:00 pm, to a house on Pleasant Street where they found the victim and rendered aid until the fire department rescue crew arrived.
Police continue investigating the incident. As of now, no additional details are available.
