Understanding the healthcare system’s capabilities helps save lives when disaster strikes. ASPR led the development of the first complete map of the healthcare system in Puerto Rico. This map will be a vital resource for public health and medical professionals so they can make more informed decisions and work to save lives when seconds count. This project can also serve as a model for other state and territorial governments as they work to enhance their understanding of the healthcare system.
