Call for Volunteers: Help us plant trees across Providence!

The colors are changing, the nights are getting cooler, the kids are back to school. Must be time for fall tree planting!

We’ve spent the summer and fall working with tree leaders, visiting planting sites, selecting trees, and coordinating with the City and contractors to get everything ready. Now, it’s time to get these trees in the ground and we need your help! We’ll be planting over 300 trees across three upcoming Saturdays: October 17, 24, and 31.

Our volunteer plantings are family-friendly, community-focused, and open to everyone. No experience or special tools needed– just a willingness to roll up your sleeves and spend an hour or so planting alongside your neighbors. Together, we will grow a greener, more equitable Providence– one tree at a time!
