CANDACE OWENS TO VISIT RHODE ISLAND FOR YOUNG REPUBLICAN EVENT – SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21
The Rhode Island Young Republicans are proud to host Candace Owens at the Rhode Island Convention Center, located at 1 Sabin Street, Providence, Rhode Island 02903.
Owens, the founder of the BLEXIT foundation, an organization dedicated to driving conservative principles into urban communities, will speak about the need for minorities to break away from groupthink, and walk away from the progressive agenda that keeps them dependent on big government.
“As a young Latino, I do not exactly fit the description of the stereotypical old white male Republican, and it is a blessing to see other minority leaders, such as Candace, helping to shatter the stereotype,” said Matt Martinez, Chairman of the RI Young Republicans. “Candace is an inspiration to all Millennial Republicans, especially Minority Millennial Republicans who are looking for their voice as we no longer fit into the categories of our parents or grandparents’ party platform ideologies. Candace excites us with her youthful message, and we want to help her spread the words, ‘You have a choice.’”
“Owens has been on both sides of the political spectrum, and as such, she can help millennials lost in today’s rhetoric make the right choice, the Republican choice,” Martinez concluded.
