CCRI to Host 3rd Annual Raising Opportunities Benefit
Warwick, R.I. – On the heels of its largest graduating class in 20 years, the Community College of Rhode Island will host the 3rd annual Raising Opportunities benefit on Friday, May 31, to help fund key programs, initiatives like the new CCRI Food Pantry and scholarships to directly benefit CCRI students.
The college’s largest benefit and celebration of the year will be held in the newly renovated Great Hall at the Knight Campus in Warwick, RI and will feature a live auction led by CCRI students, music, dancing and much more. The evening kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails and conversation followed by a video, auction, dancing, and surprise musical performances.
“At CCRI, we educate more Rhode Islanders than any other college in the state, and we know that tuition and fees are only a fraction of the real costs of higher education,” said Meghan Hughes, CCRI President. “It is through the generosity of our donors and corporate sponsors that we are able to provide our students with everything they need to be successful in and outside the classroom.”
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities for the Raising Opportunities benefit are available by visiting ccri.edu/raisingopportunities, calling 401-333-7150 or email foundation@ccri.edu.
