CHILD PROTECTIVE INVESTIGATOR (#6293)

SALARY RANGE:  $57,545 – $66,619 (Pay Grade A26)

Examination weight:  100% WRITTEN

To receive, screen, evaluate, and investigate referrals/complaints relative to alleged child abuse and/or neglect and alleged institutional abuse and/or neglect; to take the necessary measures to ensure the protection of children; and to do related work as required. Must have (1) a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement, (2) full-time employment in a private or public agency in the field of human services with exhttp://translate.google.com/#perience in providing child protection services to children or participating in child protection-investigations, and/or providing services to children and their families or investigating experience in the field of law enforcement in areas dealing primarily with juveniles or related activities, and (3) must possess and maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s license.

Para recibir, aquilatar, evaluar e investigar las referencias / quejas relacionadas con aparenteabuso y / o negligencia infantil y aparente abuso y / o negligencia institucional; adoptar las medidas necesarias para garantizar la protección de los niños; y hacer trabajos relacionados según sea necesario. Debe tener:
(1) una Licenciatura en Trabajo Social, Bienestar Social, Psicología, Sociología, Justicia Criminal o Cumplimiento de la Ley,
(2) empleo a tiempo completo en una agencia pública o privada en el campo de los servicios humanos con experiencia en la protección de niños servicios a niños o participando en investigaciones de protección infantil, y / o proporcionando servicios a niños y sus familias o investigando experiencia en el campo del cumplimiento de la ley en áreas relacionadas principalmente con menores o actividades relacionadas, y
(3) debe poseer y mantener una Licencia de operador de vehículos motorizados.
