What is an Aneurysm?

An aneurysm is a bulge or “ballooning” in the wall of an artery, the blood vessels that carry oxygen-rich blood from the heart to other parts of the body. Most aneurysms occur in the aorta, the main artery that runs from the heart through the chest and abdomen. Aneurysms can also happen in arteries in the brain, heart, and other parts of the body. If an aneurysm in the brain bursts, it causes a stroke.

Fifth Disease

Fifth disease is a viral infection caused by parvovirus B19. Symptoms can include a low fever, cold symptoms, and a headache. A red rash develops on your face and can spread to the arms, legs, and trunk. Fifth disease mostly affects children and is spread easily, through saliva and mucus. You can get it when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Frequently washing your hands might help prevent getting the virus. Most people become immune to the virus after having it once.
