National Volunteer Week
ASPR announced recipients of the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Recognition Awards April 19. Part of National Volunteer Week, these awards highlight contributions of MRC units, volunteers, leaders, and partners over the last year. ASPR received nearly 200 nominations in 13 categories covering response and non-response contributions, including COVID-19 categories. Since the start of the pandemic, more than 600 MRC units have contributed over 3 million hours to meeting their local communities’ needs.
Thank you to the MRC units, volunteers, leaders and partners for all you do to make the nation healthier, safer, and more resilient.
