Crashes snarl morning commute across SouthernNew England

CRANSTON, R.I. (WJAR) — Crashes brought the Wednesday morning commute to a crawl in several communities across Southern New England as black ice made roadways slick.
Crashes were reported on both sides of Interstate 95 near Route 117 in Warwick.
Another crash blocked Interstate 295 south in Warwick.
Crashes were also reported in Seekonk and Freetown.

A two-car crash resulted in a rollover on Interstate 95 north in Cranston early Wednesday.
Both cars rolled over near Wellington Avenue.
No additional information was immediately available.
