DUI Task Force makes 24 arrests overnight

(WPRI) — Between 7 p.m. on Wednesday and 3 a.m. on Thursday, the Rhode Island DUI Task Force says it arrested 24 people for alcohol-related offenses.

The task force is made up of members from local police departments, Rhode Island State Police, the Rhode Island Department of Transportation’s Office of Highway Safety and the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office.

The task force will continue having increased patrols throughout the holiday weekend and release its results on Monday.
