Federal prosecutors said 38-year-old Rebecca Fadanelli was arrested Friday for allegedly sourcing counterfeit Botox and filler from Brazil and China.
Former customer Keri Jimenez said thought she was getting top-notch beauty treatments.
Instead, she found herself facing questionable results, severe side effects, and a lot of unanswered questions.
“I really trusted her. She seemed trustworthy. I never thought to think she would be lying about being a nurse,” saidJimenez.
She said she started seeing Fadanelli for beauty treatments in 2021.
“Every time I would get Botox, I would question her because it didn’t take. I kept having to call her back and say, ‘oh, well I still see lines,” saidJimenez.
Botched Botox, bruised lips, and even side effects from what she thought was Ozempic.
“The migraines were so bad. Come to find out, one of her employees told me that she was getting that from Brazil,” she said.
It’s alleged Fadanelli raked in more than $1 million in these alleged phony beauty treatments at her Skin Beaute Med Spas in Randolph and South Easton.
Jimenez said she’s spent upwards of $8,000 over the years, and even recommended Fadanelli to her friends.
“I feel fooled. I feel betrayed that someone would do this. But I mean, she’s done this to hundreds of people. So, I mean, I don’t feel like a total idiot, but I do,” she said.
Despite growing doubts, Jimenez kept going back, drawn by what she called reasonable prices.
Despite the arrest and accusations, Fadanelli’s spa is still open and accepting clients.
