Ex-Johnston Police Officer and current top ridoc employee arrested for child sex crimes

Cranston, RI – A member of the Rhode Island Department of Corrections was arrested on Wednesday for child porn charges. Deputy Chief of Special Investigations Seth Crosby, 46, faces two counts of production or attempted production of child pornography, as well as one count of video voyeurism.

The Rhode Island State Police (RISP) reported that the investigation started after they received information from three minors regarding Crosby’s alleged actions. He is scheduled to be arraigned later today.

Crosby previously worked as the Human Resources Program Administrator for the Rhode Island Department of Administration. He also served 16 years with the Johnston Police Department.
