FEDERAL HILL RESTAURATEUR AMONG THE OVER 120 PEOPLE KILLED IN DOMINICAN NIGHTCLUB ROOF COLLAPSE
Federal Hill restaurateur, Fray Luis Rosario was among the over 125 victims of the Jet Set nightclub roof collapse in Santo Domingo Tuesday morning.
Fray Luis Rosario, was the owner of Terra Luna Café in Providence and Lawrence, MA, and Terra Negra Cantina, in Providence. He was not only a dedicated business owner on Federal Hill, but also an active member of the Federal Hill Commerce Association.
As shared in a statement from the Federal Hill Commerce Association: “On behalf of the Board of Directors and the members of the Federal Hill Commerce Association, we offer our deepest condolences and prayers to the Rosario family, as well as to the partners and team members of Terra Luna and Terra Negra.”
Over 125 people are known to have died when the roof of a Dominican Republic nightclub collapsed Tuesday morning, and 155 have been taken to local hospitals, officials said early Wednesday
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the structural failure.
