Rhode Island’s own rap and hip-hop phenomenon is back to lay down the real talk at The People’s Park!

From opening for Wu Tang, Ludacris and other giants, to his breakout TV performance as a finalist on the 2019 Netflix reality competition series, “Rhythm N’ Flow,” Flawless proves that many are manufactured, but few are born with it. His hard work, dedication, and drive have earned him a key to this city – let’s welcome him back with his band for an unforgettable free outdoor celebration of lyricism and drive.

A sonic feast as well as a visual spectacle, Kyiv’s DakhaBrakha weaves ancient Ukrainian folk melodies into a subversive musical tapestry that embraces indie rock, pop, hip-hop, the avant-garde, and traditional instrumentation from around the world. With the current war and humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, DakhaBrakha has taken on the mission of cultural ambassador, celebrating national pride in uncertain times through the limitless power of music.

Celebrate the heritage of Puerto Rican music and its African roots.The four-time Grammy-nominated trombonist brings his revolutionary seven-piece Afro-Rican Jazz band to the FirstWorks stage. A protégé of Dizzy Gillespie, Cepeda has created a new shade of jazz with a hip flavor, blending Puerto Rican roots, folk, progressive jazz and world music.
