Holiday traditions are important for families and children. Here are some tips from the CDC to make your Halloween safe and enjoyable.

Booster Shots: What You Need to Know

You are eligible for a booster shot if you received a Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months ago and are:

  • 65 years and older
  • Age 18+ and live in a long-term care setting
  • Age 18+ and have an underlying medical condition
  • Age 18+ and work in high-risk setting
  • Age 18+ and live in high-risk setting

If you got the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, booster shots are also recommended if you are 18 and older and you were vaccinated two or more months ago. Read the updated booster shot guidance.

Find a COVID-19 Vaccine:

  • Go to vaccines.gov
  • Text your ZIP code to 438829
  • Call 1-800-232-0233 to find locations near you
  • Check with your local pharmacy to see if vaccination walk-ins or appointments are available
  • Contact your state or local health department for more information
