How you can help the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen

5K start: 10:00 a.m.

Kids Dash (age 14 and under) start: 9:30 a.m.

The Rhode Island Family Turkey Trot 5k and Kids Trot will once again be supporting the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen. This year, in addition to a financial donation, the Rhode Island Family Turkey Trot will be having a supplies drive to support the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen.

The Pawtucket Soup Kitchen also accepts donations of food and cleaning products. The following items would be greatly appreciated.

Breakfast:
Cereals (Fruit Loops, Lucky Charms, Rice Krispies Corn Flakes, etc)
Canned Fruits (peaches, pears, fruit cocktail, etc.)
Pancake Syrup
Pop Tarts
Fruit Juices
Coffee
Sugar

Lunch:
Peanut Butter
Jelly
Juice Boxes
Individual Size Snacks (i.e., Chip, Cookies, Crackers, etc.)

Dinner:
Pasta
Tomato Products (Tomato Paste, Tomato Sauce, Crushed Tomatoes)
Canned Vegetables (Corn, Green Beans, Carrots, Peas)
Chicken Broth, Beef Broth
Salad Dressing

Bleach
Sponges
Comet/Ajax
SOS Pads
Trash Bags (Large Size)
