You will receive results on the spot for the first time, thanks to a new Abbott ID Now system. CVS is overseeing these free tests with licensed health care professionals from CVS Minute Clinic. It can provide positive results in as little as 5 minutes and negative results in 15 minutes, while you wait. Before you request the test, you should be exhibiting symptoms of the virus.
Rhode Island and Georgia are the only two states in the nation currently offering these tests. Speaker Mattiello offers his appreciation to CVS Health for stepping forward in this innovative partnership.
