Fundraiser to Support COVID-19 Response Fund
The Chamber would like to take this opportunity to help the local community by hosting a t-shirt fundraiser. A percentage of the proceeds raised will be donated to the Rhode Island Covid-19 Response Fund created by United Way of Rhode Island and The Rhode Island Foundation.

Reopening Restaurants for Outdoor Dining A Message from Governor Raimondo: As of May 18, restaurants will be able to begin limited outdoor dining in addition to their take-out, delivery and drive-through operations. Stay informed about the new rules everyone will have to follow.
ReThinkPVD Small Businesses A Message from Providence Mayor Elorza: Providence is now re-imagining what outdoor experiences may look like during and after COVID-19. As part of this plan, the City has begun to accept applications from restaurants for outdoor dining licenses in alignment with the latest guidance from the Governor and in anticipation of outdoor dining being allowed to resume on Monday, May 18.
Lifespan Resumes Elective Surgical Procedures
Following a decline in patients hospitalized with COVID-19 infections, Lifespan has announced plans to lift restrictions on scheduling elective surgical procedures that were closed due to the coronavirus. Lifespan is now offering access to a limited number of semi-urgent procedures for patients on a case-by-case basis.

The company’s new #Share a Smile campaign asks Rhode Islanders to share the names of restaurants that make them smile for a chance to win a $50 gift card to the Rhode Island restaurant of their choice.
