“The Queen of Latin Soul” La Lupe stunned audiences in 1961 in her native Cuba before arriving in New York to become an international singing sensation. With great emotion and drama, both on stage and off, La Lupe’s indelible impact on the jazz scene was enormous. A heartbreaking story, with music performed by composer and musician Czesare Santana. La Lupe – Exito y Gloria, written and directed by Artistic Director Francis Parra, recounts a brief life of the first Latina Diva.

La estupenda dirección musical de Czesare Santana va a dejar al público pidiendo más” comenta Parra

In the rehearsals, with her soaring voice, she is already blowing the doors of our small and intimate space on Parkis Avenue.
