Nonfatal Drug and Polydrug Overdoses Treated in Emergency Departments — 29 States, 2018–2019

A study of suspected nonfatal drug overdoses in emergency departments in 29 states showed an increase in overdoses involving opioids, cocaine, amphetamines, and those involving both opioids and amphetamines.
