Man hit, killed by truck in East Greenwich

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (WPRI) — A 60-year-old West Warwick man died after he was struck by a vehicle Saturday night in East Greenwich, police said Tuesday.
According to police, the man was crossing Division Road around 7:30 p.m. near the Extended Stay when he was hit by a Toyota Tundra.
He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the man was wearing dark clothing at the time of the crash.
The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Speed does not appear to be a factor, according to police.
