Man revived after being shocked while moving boat in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — First responders in Warwick revived a man who was electrocuted while moving a boat on a trailer on Dundas Avenue, according to police.

Police told 12 News that as the man and his son were moving the boat’s mast toward their house, it hit an electrical wire in a yard.

The son lost consciousness for about 20 seconds but is expected to be okay, and the father was unresponsive, being revived by firefighters, police said.

The father was taken to Rhode Island Hospital and is in stable condition with no major injuries.
