Missing 9-year-old found unresponsive in Pawtucket pool

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WJAR) — A missing 9-year-old boy was pulled from a pool in Pawtucket Wednesday night.
Police said they received a report for a missing boy on Marbury Street at 2:45 p.m.
Officials searched the area and officers located him at a nearby pool on Oak Hill Avenue.
Officers said they removed him from the pool, and he was unresponsive.
The child was transported to Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
Police did not provide an update on the child’s condition.
It is unclear how the child ended up in the pool.
Neighbors said they were heartbroken to learn what happened.
“I’m feeling for both families…The victims family and the owners of the house. I’m sure everyone’s devastated,” said one resident.
The incident is currently under investigation.
