Each May the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition encourages Americans to #MoveinMay in celebration of National Physical Fitness & Sports Month. This year, the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition is teaming up with the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion’s (ODPHP) Move Your Way campaign to promote safe physical activity while practicing social distancing.

Laws and policies can help communities increase breastfeeding rates while supporting achievement of ambitious national goals proposed by Healthy People 2020. The newest report, The Role of Law and Policy in Assisting Families to Reach Healthy People’s Maternal, Infant, and Child Health Breastfeeding Goals in the United States, is the third in a series of reports that highlights the practical application of law and policy to improve health across the nation.
