State police would not comment on the matter at the time, though the I-Team learned Maddox was accused of submitting false and inaccurate reports from commercial truck inspections.

The three-person LEOBOR board began hearings in March.

Maddox and his lawyer would not comment on the allegations at the time.

The I-Team has learned the panel has voted 2-1 in favor of the state police decision to fire Maddox.

The I-Team has reached out to state police and Maddox’s attorney for comment.
