USDA and HHS are seeking written comments from the public on the 2020 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee’s work. The Advisory Committee met on July 10 and 11 for their second of five public meetings. During this meeting, committee members presented and discussed the protocols – or plans – for how they will use one of three rigorous, scientific approaches to review the evidence for 40 of the scientific questions on nutrition and health.
