In celebration of this great country, all of us at The Pawtucket Foundation would like to wish you a safe and happy Fourth of July!
SLATER PARK SUMMER CAMP
After all these months being cooped up inside, we have some good news! Slater Park Summer Camp has decided to remain open this summer but with safe protocols of course. This summer camp is for Pawtucket residents (ages 6-13) only! Interested in signing your child up?
Calling all artists! As many people know, Pawtucket is known as “the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution” and is home to a vibrant and growing arts community. We have partnered with Art League RI to replace the vacant or unadorned storefront windows in the inner core of downtown Pawtucket. We are hoping this turns a negative into a positive and encourages people to talk the streets and enjoy the city’s artistic workforce.
We are seeking art for approximately 20 storefront display windows. Think you have an idea? Submit your artwork for consideration and it will be exhibited for a minimum of 10 months.
Trivia Night at The Guild is officially back and reinvigorated! Play five rounds of the most entertaining and challenging game of Trivia every Tuesday night at 6:30 pm. If you and your team have what it takes to claim victory, a $50 gift card is yours to claim!
The Rhode Island Watercolor Society will be featuring the art of Elaine Gauthier, Catherine Mansell and Donald Blough. This exhibition will take place through July 31st. Stop by the gallery during their new limited hours to view the incredible work of these talented artists!
