Calling all artists! As many people know, Pawtucket is known as “the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution” and is home to a vibrant and growing arts community. We have partnered with Art League RI to replace the vacant or unadorned storefront windows in the inner core of downtown Pawtucket. We are hoping this turns a negative into a positive and encourages people to talk the streets and enjoy the city’s artistic workforce.
We are seeking art for approximately 20 storefront display windows and would love if you would submit your artwork for consideration.
Have you had a chance to visit the new farmers market in downtown Pawtucket? Every Wednesday from 3-6pm, there will be a popup farmers market where you can get delicious, fresh foods.
Looking for some Tuesday night plans? Head over to the The Guild every Tuesday night at 6:30 pm to play a challenging game of Trivia. You could leave with some very exciting prizes!
The Rhode Island Watercolor Society will be featuring the art of Elaine Gauthier, Catherine Mansell and Donald Blough. This exhibition will take place through July 31st. Stop by the gallery during their new limited hours to view the incredible work of these talented artists!
At the Pawtucket Foundation, our goal is to foster a vision of a downtown area that is sustainable, attractive, active and safe. Visit pawtucketfoundation.org to learn more!
