Pawtucket Restaurant Week

PAWTUCKET – The city of Pawtucket, the Pawtucket Foundation, and the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council are hosting the Second Annual Pawtucket Restaurant Week Sept. 3-9.

Participating restaurants will offer special menus and/or pricing for customers to experience, including: breakfast or lunch for $7.99, and dinner for $14.99. The price of the meal does not include tax.

The week-long event also coincides with the Pawtucket Arts Festival, which draws thousands of visitors. Residents and visitors can attend a gallery event or concert and grab a bite to eat. Participants who order a special menu item during Restaurant Week will be entered into a raffle to win a restaurant gift card.

“After the success of our first Restaurant Week, creating a new website combined with marketing state-wide will only further our promotion of this exciting culinary event,”  said Mayor Donald Grebien. “Small businesses are the backbone of our community, and we have so many great restaurants to explore. Restaurant Week is a great way to experience the City’s growing restaurant scene and at the same time, attend one of the many Arts Festival events.”

“Restaurant Week ‘Flavor First’ celebrates Pawtucket’s ethnic and culinary diversity,” said State Senator Sandra Cano, and Restaurant Week organizing committee member. “We hope you will join us to support our local business owners.”

“Pawtucket has so much to offer and many hidden gems that we want to highlight,” said Jan Brodie, executive director of the Pawtucket Foundation. “Restaurant Week offers affordable options for people to try a restaurant that they haven’t been to before or to visit an old favorite with new friends.”

“The Blackstone Valley Tourism Council is proud to partner with the City, the Pawtucket Foundation, and local businesses to highlight the flavors of Pawtucket,” said Bob Billington, president of the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council.
