Police looking for missing autistic woman in Cranston

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Cranston police are asking for the public’s assistance finding a missing 44-year-old autistic woman.

Police said the woman is nonverbal and was last seen near North Clarendon Street around 3 p.m. Wednesday. She is described as being 4-foot-11-inches tall and 100 pounds with black curly hair.

The woman, who police have not identified, is likely wearing blue jeans and a black sweater. She is also believed to be carrying a tan purse.
