Police respond to bomb threat at Electric Boat

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) — A heavy police presence was seen at Electric Boat in North Kingstown on Friday due to a bomb threat.
Police said they got a call around 10:10 a.m. reporting that someone had written on a bathroom stall that the “building was going to blow up.”
State and local police responded and set up a command post. The town’s fire department and state fire marshal’s office were also on scene.
The building was evacuated and first responders are currently checking the 9C building.
There is no danger to the general public.
