YMCA Camp Sloane

Four Project GOAL students had the opportunity to participate in two weeks of summer camp at YMCA Camp Sloane. They forewent technology and phones to sleep in tents, try out new activities including mountain biking and zip lining, and make new friends.

Summer Programming

Project GOAL students participated in two weeks of summer programming at Moses Brown School and Brown University fields. The first week, they were visited by special guests, Rhode Island FC players Kevin Vang, Isaac Angking, and Nate Messer.

G Form Photo Shoot

G Form has generously provided shinguards for Project GOAL students each year and recently hosted a photo and video shoot with some of our very own students modeling with their soccer skills!

NE Revolution at Gillette Stadium

Students from Project GOAL’s programs at Calcutt Middle School and Veterans Elementary ended the school year watching NE Revolution play at Gillette Stadium. One of our very own students had the opportunity to walk onto the field with the players to start the game.

Common Goal

Project GOAL director, Darius Shirzadi, attended a week in Berlin with Common Goal forum participants from around the world, learning and sharing what we do, what works, and how we can improve.
