PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A massive fire forced multiple residents from their homes on the West Side of Providence Friday morning.
A multi-family home on Carpenter Street was reduced to a pile of ash and debris after a three-alarm fire broke out around 9 a.m.
Crews arrived to find the structure fully engulfed, sending thick smoke into the air. The flames spread to two neighboring homes, causing heavy damage, and also scorched several parked cars in the backyard.
