Providence Public Library Announces Temporary Hours Changes Due to Ongoing Renovations
PROVIDENCE, RI – Due to ongoing renovations, and in an effort to better serve our library users, Providence Public Library (PPL) will be implementing the following changes in open hours during the upcoming weeks. Beginning Monday, April 22, the Library will be shifting its open hours to afternoon and evening from Monday, April 22 through Thursday, May 2. The Library will be closed on Fridays during this two-week period. The Library will be open Saturdays with normal hours, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm.
Additional changes may be necessary during the upcoming weeks and the Library recommends visiting its website at www.provlib.org or updates. Scheduled series and special programs will continue during these closures.

The following closures and changes in hours will be in effect beginning April 12:
Friday, April 12: Closed
Saturday, April 13: Closed
Friday, April 19: Closed (will open for Soil Testing program at Noon)
Monday, April 22 – Thursday, April 25: Open 2:30 – 8:30 pm
Friday, April 26: Closed
Monday, April 29 – Thursday, May 2: Open 2:30 – 8:30 pm
Friday, May 3: Closed
Thursday, May 16: Open 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
Unless noted, we will be open on Saturdays during normal hours, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm.
