“La Reina de la Canción Latina” La Lupe sorprendió al público en 1961 en su Cuba natal antes de llegar a New York para convertirse en una sensación internacional. Con gran emoción y dramatismo, tanto en el escenario como fuera de él, el impacto indeleble de La Lupe en la escena del jazz fue enorme.  Una historia desgarradora, con música interpretada por el compositor y músico Czesare Santana, La Lupe – Exito y Gloria, escrita y dirigida por Francis Parra, narra la breve vida de la primera diva Latina.

“The Queen of Latin Soul” La Lupe stunned audiences in 1961 in her native Cuba before arriving in New York to become an international singing sensation.  With great emotion and drama, both on stage and off, La Lupe’s indelible impact on the jazz scene was enormous.  A heartbreaking story, with music performed by composer and musician Czesare Santana.  La Lupe – Exito y Gloria, written and directed by Artistic Director Francis Parra, recounts a brief life of the first Latina Diva.
