The Farm Fresh Winter Market is open every Saturday 9am–1pm at 10 Sims Ave (on the corner of Kinsley Ave) in Providence. Check out our extensive vendor lineup!
You can even get your knives expertly sharpened while you shop!
As always, thank you for helping keep our community healthy. 155 customers can be in our facility at once right now. Consider sending one person inside for your household. Then take it outside! Food trucks, some vendors, and distanced seating are available outside.
Sorry, dogs are not allowed inside per Health Department regulations.
[From the Flea] There are 57 reasons you don’t want to miss out on this weekend’s Flea. If you haven’t been yet, our new stomping ground is Farm Fresh RI in Providence, a gorgeous, light-filled building that was purpose-built for markets like ours (and theirs, of course!). Find us there 11am-3pm with new and returning vendors and food trucks, hot coffee and baked goods, and plenty of room for safe, socially-distanced shopping. Free parking in two lots and free on-street parking as well. Always free admission.
While farmers market shoppers may be familiar with our Fresh Bucks token system, another federal benefit program helps keep our community farmers markets humming through the season: WIC. We’ve received data from the RI WIC office about redemption at the 2019 summer markets, and the top grower is… Daily Farm of Tiverton! Read more.
Calling all local farmers and food producers. The application is now open to sell at our summertime farmers markets for the 2021 season. Learn more and apply by March 12!

Staff Spotlight
Meet Susan Clausen
Meet Susan, our wonderful Property Manager (posing alongside one of the “animal heads” she makes in her spare time!). We asked Susan some hard-hitting questions, and this is what we learned.
What TV shows do you like to watch? I have to admit, I watch a lot on The Food Network.
What is your favorite thing to get at the Winter Market? I alway have some Rhed’s Hot Sauce and Barrett’s Garden Farmesan Cheese in the fridge!
What are you looking forward to most post-pandemic? Hanging out with friends, playing music, eating together, and visiting my 89-year-old mother.
Thank you Susan for always making our team laugh and for keeping our new building at 10 Sims running smoothly!
Hope’s Harvest RI mobilizes volunteers to collect unharvested produce and deliver it to needy populations. As an efficient and effective solution to the twin challenges of food waste and hungry people, farm-based food recovery (also known as “gleaning”) strengthens our local food system and makes our communities less dependent on commodity food shipped from thousands of miles away instead of what’s in our own backyard. Farm Fresh is proud to be the fiscal sponsor of this truly inspirational nonprofit.
Hope’s Harvest RI Values: Because we respect the labor of our volunteers, our agency partners, and everyone involved in growing and harvesting our food, we fill gaps, solve problems, and make it easy to help each other.
Do you see a gap in your community’s food system? Have an idea? Reach out to Merl at Hope’s Harvest to collaborate.
