Revelfest Returns

Revelfest’19 returns to Pawtucket, Rhode Island for the third annual evening of non-stop entertainment on Saturday, April 13, 2019.

Presented by REVEL Factory and TEN31 Productions, Revelfest is an invigorating evening featuring some of Rhode Island’s favorite live music, performing and visual arts, and a featured fashion show – all inspired by vibrant art movements of the 80’s and concluding in a festive 80’s themed dance party.

Revelfest’19 features a diverse musical line-up including B-Hive!, New England’s premier B-52’s tribute band, and the dirty blues sounds of Detroit Rebellion. The evening’s fashion event is The Rad Runway Challenge by Lights, Fashion, Philanthropy featuring works from Rhode Island fashion designers. There will also be interactive and living art performances by Cotè, Alien TV, Art on the Spot, Circus Dynamics, TEN31’s POP! People, and dance performances by Metamorphosis Dance Company.
Throughout this immersive event, REVELFEST’19 guests are invited to shop from local arts and trades companies, partake in food truck goodies, and enjoy beverages and cocktails at a cash bar.
This spectacular fundraising event supports REVEL Factory, TEN31’s non-profit organization offering community programs that foster creativity, self-expression and healing through the arts for people of all ages. REVEL Factory’s programming includes classes and workshops in dance, theater, costume design, painting and more. And this year, REVEL Factory is introducing an artist-in-residence grant program offering artists opportunities to use REVEL Factory’s Cultural Arts and Event Center to further develop and showcase their art.
REVEL Factory’s current and past community programs include collaborations with the Jacqueline M. Walsh School (JMW) for the Performing and Visual Arts and with the assisted living community of Saint Elizabeth Court. At JMW, students gain real-world design and production skills while encouraged to step outside of their creative comfort zones. And with Saint Elizabeth Court and REVEL Factory’s Mirror Collective, young Rhode Island art students are paired with a resident of this assisted living community to gain inspiration from their life stories, resulting in works of art created by the students. This inter-generational community program bridges the gap between generations through the expressive arts.
100% of Revelfest’19 ticket sales, sponsor contributions, and all net profits from beverage sales along with additional contributions from vendors support these and all of the REVEL Factory’s community programs and grants.
This annual multimedia festival celebrates Rhode Island’s arts, music & fashion cultures while supporting REVEL Factory’s efforts in building a creative and healthy community together.
