Rhode Island Community Food Bank has been distributing millions of pounds of food to Rhode Islanders in need since 1982. The Food Bank’s vision is to ensure that no one in Rhode Island goes hungry.
With 68,000 people served each month in Rhode Island, the RI Community Food Bank is looking for candidates like you to support them in meeting the ever-present demand.
As an Order Picker or Warehouse Worker, you will leverage your skills and previous warehouse experience to pick orders, monitor warehouse capacity, interacting with volunteers that come in to assist and much more.
In either of the listed roles, you’re helping to meet the RI Community Food Bank’s mission so your neighbors do not go hungry.
Successful Candidates will Possess:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years’ experience in warehousing
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Prior experience with food warehousing and distribution
  • The ability to work on multiple projects
  • The ability to work independently and as a team with people from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds
