The RI Department of Health has released a list of items needed as they ramp up COVID-19 testing. If you are a researcher, supplier, or manufacturer who can donate or sell these items to the state, please provide all required information so that they can quickly assess if it will meet their needs.

April 15 Deadline – What You Should Know
By now, many of you have undoubtedly heard the announcement by U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin that the April 15 tax deadline has been extended to July 15. As it stands now, it appears that the new July 15 deadline only applies to tax payments that are normally due April 15. This means that the deadline for actually filing a tax return is still April 15.
Verizon will be waiving late fees for small and medium businesses enterprises, as well as residential customers if they have been impacted by the pandemic. Cox also announced that they will not stop service to residential or small business customers who are unable to pay their bills due to disruptions caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. The FDIC encourages financial institutions to take prudent steps to assist customers and communities affected by COVID-19. The FDIC recognizes that efforts to work with customers and communities affected by COVID-19 can be consistent with safe and sound banking practices and in the public interest. The FDIC issued a Statement on Financial Institutions Working with Customers Affected by COVID-19 and Regulatory and Supervisory Assistance.
