Ian has lost its tropical characteristics as it interacts with a frontal boundary. THIS WEEKEND: Rain Saturday; Windy and Cool Sunday We’ll be feeling the fringe effects of the remnants of Ian this weekend, with a chilly rain on Saturday. Highs will mostly be in the 50s with the steadiest and heaviest rain expected along the immediate coast. More than 1″ of rain is possible along the coast, and NOAA has issued a slight risk for “Excessive Rain/Flash Flooding” for tomorrow in that area. The risk is lower further inland. Off/On showers continue Saturday evening and night when winds will start to increase. It still looks a bit damp at times on Sunday (lighter showers and drizzle) through the morning, with chilly temperatures and wind gusts up to 35 mph.
