Speaker Mattiello discusses budget, taxes and economy with the Chamber

Chamber President Laurie White spoke this afternoon with Speaker of the House Nicholas A. Mattiello to provide our members with insights into the next steps for the General Assembly, the outlook for the state’s budget, the car tax and the economy.

Speaker Mattiello discussed a wide range of topics, including: state revenue streams, tax rates, education, healthcare, federal stabilization funds, gaming, the business environment and the horizon for the rest of the legislative session.
