Three from Fall River, three more from South Carolina, face sex-trafficking charges

BOSTON, MASS. (WJAR) — Two Fall River residents are set to appear in federal court in Boston Monday on sex-trafficking charges.
Cory Primo, 42, and Christy Parker, 26, are among six facing charges including sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; sex trafficking of a minor; and conspiracy.
Another Fall River resident, Avvani Jeffers, 22, was arrested in June. Jeffers faces similar charges and a detention hearing on Monday.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Boston, the three Fall River residents and three from South Carolina forced one adult and two minors to engage in commercial sex in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and kept the profits.
