Treasury and RIDE to Host
Financial Literacy Forum for Educators
On October 25, 2025, from 8:30 to 1:30, Rhode Island Treasury, in collaboration with RIDE, will host a Financial Literacy Educators Forum at Bryant University. This half-day event will bring together educators, community partners, and leaders to share innovative approaches to financial literacy instruction and its impact in our schools. The program will include professional development sessions, a community expo, and opportunities for collaboration to strengthen financial education across Rhode Island. Certificates of attendance will be provided for educators seeking PLU documentation.
Please note: this forum is ONLY eligible for CURRENT middle and high school educators who teach financial literacy courses. If you are eligible and interested in attending, please register here: https://forms.gle/q7YzmaetrVmCNftj8
Empowering Independence with RI ABLE
I was honored to speak at the 55th National Federation of the Blind of Rhode Island Convention about the RI ABLE program! This important initiative gives Rhode Islanders with disabilities more tools to save, plan for the future, and build financial independence without jeopardizing essential benefits. I was excited to share that we’re ahead of schedule in growing RI ABLE accounts and preparing to expand eligibility in 2026 to the age of 46, helping even more individuals and families achieve their goals with confidence. Investing in the Next Generation at
Rhode Island Character Con
This past weekend I attended Rhode Island Character Con with my two children, where CollegeBound Saver was proud to be a sponsor! Hosted by RI Night Market, the event was a wonderful celebration of creativity, culture, and community, bringing together talented artists and passionate fans from across the state. Supporting events like this reflects CollegeBound Saver’s mission to help Rhode Island families invest in their children’s futures because fostering imagination and education today helps build the innovators and creators of tomorrow.
