Unclaimed $240K Wild Money jackpot to expire next month

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Time is running out for one lucky Wild Money jackpot winner.

The Rhode Island Lottery said Thursday that an unclaimed $240,876 Wild Money jackpot is set to expire on Aug. 4.

The ticket was purchased that same day last year at the Silver Mart on Cottage Street in Pawtucket. The winning numbers were 11, 16, 19, 32 and 37.

In Rhode Island, players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. Prizes that go unclaimed get turned over to the state’s general fund.

There’s also an unclaimed $10,000 Mega Millions prize set to expire on Aug. 8. It was purchased at Li’l General on Chapel Street in Burrillville.
