Interested in attending the 2020 Democratic National Convention?

The RIDP will be sending a delegation to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to participate in the Democratic National Convention

Last week, Chairman McNamara announced that the Rhode Island Democratic Party will host its first ever virtual convention on June 15. At the convention, we’ll formally endorse candidates for US Senate, 1st Congressional District, and 2nd Congressional District.

Additionally, the party will elect its DNC Committeeman, DNC Committeewoman, and the remaining members of the RIDP’s

2020 DNC Convention delegation.

The Barrington Democratic Town Committee will be meeting TBD at 7 p.m. at the Barrington Town Library, Pam Lauria, Chair.

Next meeting is TBD at 9:00 AM at the Island Free Library. The Block Island Democrats meet monthly on the 3rd Wednesday. Sean McGarry, Chair

The Bristol Democratic Town Committee is chaired by Erich Haslehurst. The Bristol Democrats will now meet via Zoom until further notice. The next two meetings are scheduled for May 18 and June 15 at 7 p.m. 

The Burrillville Democratic Town Committee is chaired by Brandon Greene and the Burrillville Democrats normally meet monthly on the 3rd Monday. Their next regularly-scheduled meeting will be TBD at 7:00 p.m.

Next meeting is tentatively TBD in the community room of the Charlestown Police Station. Chaired by Cathy Collette, the Charlestown Democrats meet monthly on the 3rd Wednesday.

The Coventry Democratic Town Committee’s next meeting is TBD. The Coventry Democrats are chaired by Rick Kalunian. For further information contact the Chair.

The Jamestown Democratic Town Committee next meeting is TBD at 7:30pm at the Jamestown Senior Center, 6 West Street. The co-chairs are Anne Livingston and Melody Drnach, and may be contacted at annemaxliv@aol.com. The Jamestown Democrats normally meet monthly on the 2nd Monday.

Chaired by Richard J. Delfino, Jr., the Johnston Democratic Committee meets every 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00 pm. Next meeting is TBD at the Bridge at Cherry Hill (1 Cherry Hill Road) in Johnston.

Next meeting is TBD at 7pm at the Lincoln Senior Center. Co-chaired by Paula Carmichael, the committee normally meets on the last Thursday of each month.

Next meeting is TBD. Chaired by Winters Hames, the Narragansett Democrats normally meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday at the Break Hotel, 1208 Ocean Rd., Narragansett.

Next meeting is TBD. Chaired by Bud Cicilline, the Newport Democrats meet monthly on the 1st Monday at the Elks Lodge,141 Pelham St.

Next meeting is TBD at 7:00 p.m. at Providence Coal Fire Pizza. The North Kingstown Democrats meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday. Chair is Jim Grundy.

The North Providence Democratic Town Committee next meeting is TBD.

Next meeting is TBD at Food Works, 2461 East Main Rd., Portsmouth. Chaired by Leonard Katzman, the Portsmouth Democrats meet monthly on the 1st Monday.
