Timothy Campbell, 18, had just graduated high school and started a new job as teaching assistant at West Bay Collaborative school, in Warwick.

Although his life was cut short, Campbell’s family said his legacy will live on in those who loved him most.

“If we could tell him something right now it would be it would be you were loved 100%,” said his family.

Police said while riding in the backseat of a friends car, their car sideswiped another vehicle on the road, collided with the median and flipped several times.

Officials said Campbell was not wearing his seatbelt.

He was declared dead on the scene.

“I hope kids take notice of this like buckle up, put you’re freaking seatbelt on,” said his family.

His family, now just beginning to picture life without him.

His girlfriend, told NBC10 he’s leaving behind so much more than just his legacy.

“He knew before he passed away, but I am almost two weeks pregnant with his child. I hope it’s a boy so we can name it after him,” said his girlfriend.

A GoFundMe page, set up by staff with West Bay Collaborative, has already helped raise more than $8,000.

A memorial for Timothy is being held on Monday at the JJ Duffy Funeral Home in Cumberland.
