Prescription Drug Take Back Day- October 27-2018

Dear community member,

Did you know: Drug overdoses are now the leading cause of accidental death in Rhode Island and youth who abuse prescription drugs mostly find them in their own homes?

The City of Providence and community partners are working to combat this problem. We invite you to participate in Providence’s Prescription Drug Take Back Day event on Saturday, October 27 from 10am-2pm at three different locations:

• Walgreens Pharmacy: 533 Elmwood Avenue
• Walgreens Pharmacy: 1 Pocasset Avenue
• Providence Public Safety Complex: 325 Washington Street

Turn in your old or unused prescription/non-prescription drugs, with no questions asked. These drugs will be collected and destroyed properly. Everyone who participates will be entered into one of three raffles for a $25 Walgreens gift card.
